The Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation has received the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar, the world’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations. The Platinum Participant recognition designates that the Sportsmen’s Alliance goes above and beyond just providing financial records, Internal Revenue Service documents or other information often found on most charity evaluators, and demonstrates that the organization is focused on measuring progress and results year over year.
With more than 19 million searches for 1.8 million non-profit charities, GuideStar offers the best research into charities free of charge. Guidestar Platinum, the newest and highest profile level from the organization, allows organizations to push past financial metrics to share their actual progress and results.
“We are extremely proud to receive the Platinum Participant accreditation from GuideStar. Earning the highest rating possible is a testament to the fiscally responsible approach that Sportsmen’s Alliance takes toward advancing our mission,” said Sportsmen’s Alliance Vice President of Membership and Development, Sean Curran. “Our members and donors can have complete confidence that their contributions make a positive impact on the future of hunting, fishing, trapping and the shooting sports.”
In addition to Guidestar, the Sportsmen’s Alliance has received top billing from Charity Navigator and Conservation & Preservation Charities of America.
