SA/SAF respects the privacy of every individual who visits www.sportsmensalliance.org. This policy explains our online and offline information and privacy practices. By visiting our website, you accept and agree to the practices described in this privacy policy.

Data Collection

We collect non-personal information from website visitors, including, but not limited to, general traffic, site usage, and length of stay.  This information collection may include, but is not limited to, the internet domain and the Internet Protocol address for which our site was accessed, browser and operating system information, addresses of sites referring visitors, and the date and time our site is accessed.  This information is not compiled or used to reveal personal information from our website visitors.

You may be asked to provide personal information, including, but not limited to, your name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, or credit card information if you choose to donate or purchase through the website.  We do not collect personal information from you unless you provide it to us voluntarily.  If you choose to donate or contribute to our organization, we maintain a record of your contribution. Your financial information will be treated as confidential, unless otherwise agreed.

SA/SAF does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without insisting that they seek parental consent before doing so as required by applicable law.

Data Use

SA/SAF may use non-personal and personal information collected for such uses as learning the number of people visiting the website, analyzing what information is of the most interest to online users, identifying system performance problems, and compiling website statistics.

If you choose to provide personal information, that information may be entered into our constituent data base, and we may contact you in order to provide you with educational messages, program service announcements, requests for support, product offers, and updates.

SA/SAF value the trust its donors/members and other stakeholders place in these organizations and adhere to the highest standards in gathering, using and safeguarding their information. SA/SAF does not rent, share, sell, trade or provide donor/member information to third parties outside of the SA/SAF system (unless you otherwise agree) except under the following conditions:

Public Recognition – There are times when we publicly recognize and thank donors, members, volunteers, businesses, foundations, clubs and other stakeholders for their generosity and support. If you prefer to remain anonymous, please indicate this preference either when completing your donor/membership gift form, or contact us directly.

Third Party Suppliers – In order to maintain cost effectiveness and continue to provide a high level of donor/member services, selected third parties (i.e., data processing, mailing/marketing firms and SA/SAF endorsed or approved program service firms providing donor/member benefits and services) conduct services on our behalf. These companies enter into strict confidentiality agreements and agree not to keep information on file after the contact has been completed.

As required by Law – SA/SAF will release information when required to comply with the law, court order, or to establish or exercise legal rights or defend against legal claims.

SA/SAF is committed to protecting the security of your personal information and has implemented physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information collected from online visitors and to prevent unauthorized access, use, and disclosure of this information.
