Once again, Minnesota’s mourning dove hunt is under direct assault.

HF 1321, introduced by Representative Karen Clarke (DFL- Minneapolis) will outlaw mourning dove hunting, and remove mourning doves from the gamebird list.

The bill has been referred to the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee.

“The anti’s think they smell blood and will never stop attacking dove hunting in Minnesota.  This means, sportsmen have to keep speaking out and letting their legislators know how important their hunting traditions are,” said USSA senior vice president, Rick Story.
