Now Hiring: Social Media Specialist

Today, America’s outdoors heritage is under siege. Yet, while a range of hunting/conservation groups exist to protect certain aspects and interests of the sporting community, The Sportsmen’s Alliance and its Foundation (SA/SAF) fill a vital role as the only entity uniquely designed and equipped to lead the legislative and legal fight by representing the interests of all sportsmen, including where possible uniting disparate conservation groups in a common cause. As a “defensive first” organization that exists to fight the hardest fights wherever they arise, SA/SAF plays an integral role supporting the conservation and hunting heritage efforts of all other like-minded groups. Rarely able to anticipate where its next battle will be, SA/SAF serves as a watchman at the gate, observing, documenting, garnering support, and bringing to bear unique expertise to protect the freedoms on which other conservation groups rely. A strategic priority of SA/SAF’s work includes the goal of educating the nation’s next generation(s) so that outdoorsmen and women can take back the dialogue and our children can rightly understand both the history and the science behind conservation.

S/He should have proven success in growing engagement and followers across all current and future social media platforms as well as compile and write news shorts and press releases. The Social Media Specialist will be based in Columbus, Ohio at SA/SAF’s headquarters.
