Rocky Boots has stepped up to protect our outdoor passions by increasing their commitment to the Sportsmen’s Alliance in multiple ways. First, Rocky sponsored the 2018 Rally, and now the designers and manufacturers of premium quality outdoor gear have increased their membership level to the Leader’s Club.

“It’s a perfect fit for Rocky Boots and Sportsmen’s Alliance to join forces through our Business Partner program. Together we will protect our passions for the outdoors while ensuring our traditions remain strong for future generations to enjoy. The Rocky team definitely understands the importance of keeping our traditions alive, just watch their short film and you’ll understand,” said Sean Curran, vice president of membership and corporate partnerships.

Rocky has catered to the needs of sportsmen since the brand was created in 1979 as a unique identity for William Brooks Shoe Co., a company founded in Nelsonville, Ohio, in 1932. Long known for their footwear, the company also released a line of camouflage called Venator.

Coincidentally, Sportsmen’s Alliance also got its start in Ohio when a group of trappers, wildlife managers and businessmen united to defeat an anti-trapping ballot initiative in 1977. The shared history and passion for the outdoors has driven the success of this burgeoning partnership.

“Rocky has been a proud supporter of Sportsmen’s Alliance for a number of years. As a fellow Ohio company, we are excited to further our partnership and provide quality footwear and apparel for the avid hunter in our home state and beyond. Heritage and tradition are deeply rooted in the Rocky brand, as well as passion for the outdoors. Sportsmen’s Alliance and Rocky Boots are a perfect pair to drive this passion forward for generations to come,” said Mike Roundhouse, vice president and brand general manager of Rocky Boots.
