The Wisconsin Conservation Congress will take public comment on a wide range of sportsmen’s issues until April 15 at 7 p.m. The survey includes questions related to field trialing, hunting with hounds and trapping.
Wisconsin members should submit their pro-sportsmen public comments at this link.
The survey contains questions about repealing outdated prohibitions that limit the ability to train hounds for bear hunting and field trialing, as well as questions related to increased body gripping trap sizes. There are additional survey questions specific to county of residence that impact sportsmen’s rights.
“We encourage all our Wisconsin members to submit survey comments that will protect and preserve hunting, fishing and trapping opportunities in the state,” said Jacob Hupp, associate director of state services at the Sportsmen’s Alliance.
